After the brutal death of the editor of his films, Olivier Froux, at the very moment when they were about to start editing Faits Divers together, Raymond Depardon initiated his great American project, the result of three trips.
Composed of images of Arizona, Las Vegas, desert canyons, but also in California, the Hollywood studios or the Alcatraz prison, the project is crossed by a common thread that links this whole: travel, death and the crossing. of the desert.
