Sandro Giordano, alias Remmidemmi, is a new, emerging talent in the Italian photo art scene. He first shown in Germany by in focus gallery.
Sandro Giordano alias Remmidemmi was born in Rome on October 6, 1972. He studied stage design at the “Istituto per la Cinematografia e la Televisione Roberto Rossellini” in Rome. Immediately after completing his studies, he began working as a light and sound engineer on Roman theaters. In 1993 he studied acting at one of the best private schools in Rome and began his professional career the following year as an actor with directors such as Luciano Melchionna and Giancarlo Cobelli and Dario Argento. Since October 2013 Giordano has dedicated himself entirely to the photo project “IN EXTREMIS”.
From this series here is the work “Ciao Marcello” from 2016 (C-Print mounted with protective film, 50 x 50 cm, edition 10, signed, dated, numbered on the reverse). In the search for money, misfortune happens, unpredictably and out of the blue. Exactly the unpredictable has now occurred worldwide and has not only massively damaged the economy. Stand up, fight and start again for many people. Also for the young woman in the photo?
