Tuesday night’s International Center of Photography’s 27th Annual Infinity Awards, held at Pier Sixty in New York City’s Chelsea Piers, began with a wonderful cocktail reception. The sun setting over the Hudson River was the backdrop for the beautifully appointed rooms, which were a virtual ’Who’s Who’ of the Photography and Publishing world:

Town & Country’s Jay Fielden and Alexandra Kotur; Harper’s Bazaar’s Glenda Bailey; W Magazine’s Stefano Tonchi; Editor in chief of Esquire Magazine, David Granger; Marcel Saba, founder and director of Redux Pictures, with David Friend from Vanity Fair, and Olie Holly photographer rep’s, Jed Root and Marek Milewicz, with Donna Cerutti. Also seen in the crowd were Gallery owners James Danziger and Howard Greenberg; NYPH11 Photo Festival co-curator’s, Elisabeth Biondi and Enrico Bossan; photographers Mary Ellen Mark, Timothy Greenfield-Sanders, Sylvia Plachy and 1990 Pulitzer Prize winner for his photographs of political unrest in China and Eastern Europe, David Turnley, Chris Dougherty, People magazine, photo director.
