Hannah Traore Gallery presents Hassan Hajjaj‘s first solo exhibition, People of My Time, until March 29, 2025. People of My Time presents portraits fusing Moroccan heritage and pop sensibility.
The exhibition, a collection of small-scale photographic portraits taken between 2000 and 2022, depicts figures who crossed Hajjaj’s path across the world. In vibrant colors, accompanied by frames made from repurposed plastic floor mats, the exhibition is a testament to global connection.
Alongside the portraits, Hajjaj will also recreate his Marrakech tea room “Jajjah” on the gallery walls.
