Until now
‘Jusqu’à présent’ is an exploration of the heart of the moment. A stroll through the perpetual movement of reality. Always in the present, a light, a reflection, a posture.
This series presents an almost enigmatic everyday life in which the viewer senses the imminence of a new world. By playing with the relationship between scale and framing, I disrupt our orientation, insinuating mystery into what ordinarily seems banal.
The ‘Until now’ series represents a break with the world around us. I let myself be carried along by the appearance of phenomena, without any attempt to master or control the event.
Here, it’s not a question of showing a representation of life itself, but a particular vision of a moment in existence. For me, life is experienced in a physical way and not through the images we have of it. Life is in the street, in our relationship with things, people and the world.
This series is an invitation to go out and see.
