Denis Darzacq presents his exhibition entitled Faire corps at the Galerie de l’Illet at the Confluence in Betton until March 16, 2025. He writes:
When I discovered the magnificent room of La Confluence in Betton, I immediately saw that there was an opportunity to seize: To present, in a single space and for the first time, all of my photographic series that focus on bodies in action. All the photographs presented here, as well as the video installation “Rise” (initially created for the Lianzhou Museum in China and never presented because it was censored), have as a common denominator the presence of individuals in search of their balance in the frame.
In some thirty years of photography, these questions have evolved and taken different forms, but each time, the questioning remains the same: How to be one with others and find one’s place in society?
