The series “Love is beautiful” was born out of these observations, and of these questionings. How to transcribe love with flowers and what it implies in terms of desires, pleasures, treasons and ruptures? How to give life to something inanimate and to make this life tangible?
The cut flowers must fulfil this role, be a vector of joys, sorrows, and sometimes become catharsis, in order to eventually give the reader the illusion of reality. There is something theatrical in their stage setting, which requires rigorous compositions and lightings.
“Love is beautiful” could be an infinite series, love being unlimited, but as each thing has an ending, I chose four possible, probable stories.
So, “is love beautiful”?
