The Pari Mutuel Urbain (PMU) recently gave Malik Nejmi carte blanche to photograph the world of racing and betting at France’s bars and racetracks. The resulting images comprising the series “France, Turfisme” bring together some forty photographs taken over a three-month period in which the photographer captures an original and compassionate look at gambling.
