Strongly invested in supporting the production of works, the Fondation des Artistes develops a proactive policy of patronage, in particular through the important project aid system that it set up in December 2011 which is aimed at artists, without age criteria, in all fields of visual arts, from painting to video, including sculpture, drawing, photography, performance… This is the most important private system of aid for production in France since the Fondation des Artistes devotes nearly €500,000 to it each year.
During the spring commission, which was held on April 29, 28 new projects were selected for a total budget of €251,000.
Since the creation of this system, 591 artist projects have now been supported, for a total amount of €6,651,124.
Alexis Cordesse won the only prize awarded to photography for this session.
To present a project for the fall 2024 commission, artists can pre-register on the dedicated platform on the website www.fondationdesartistes.fr and send a an application, until Friday September 13, 2024 inclusive, postmark as proof.
