The 13th issue of Fantastic Man features the football player David Beckham on the cover and inside the magazine. Perhaps the most famous gentleman in the world, Mr. Beckham is freshly coiffed and photographed at a pie and mash shop in his native London by Alasdair McLellan.
McLellan is also resposible for the portraits of the new director of the Tate Modern, Chris Dercon, who discusses the fantastic prospects for the museum’s upcoming Herzog & De Meuron extension.
Other notable profiles include: owner of The Idependent newspaper, the media oligarch Mr. Evgeny Lebedev; and Michael Stipe who takes time to speak about his projects outside of the encompassing R.E.M.
The issue also includes contributions from photographers like Liz Collins, who shot a stylish dogwalk with actor Noah Huntley; Willy Vanderperre who did some Parisian portraits and Andreas Larsson who shot a fashion serie on Fantastic Man’s own underwear collection in collaboration with The White Briefs.
