The Biennial of Moving Images Tangible explores practices that tend to emancipate a classic use of photography. Whether through the technical support, or form, the Biennale wishes to discover new languages to the limit of the medium.
The first edition of the Biennale will take place in November / December 2018 in the twentieth arrondissement of Paris. It will include a major exhibition and a score of events located at galleries and partner sites, which artists will be selected by an independent jury.
A call for proposals for exhibitions satellite locations is launched from March 15 to June 5, 2018.
All artists who work with photography as a medium source are invited to participate regardless of age or nationality.
The selection of artists is made by a jury of art professionals and culture in line with the theme of the Biennale, not HP.
The jury will take into account the quality and the outcome of each proposed project in order to keep the opportunity for young artists to participate.
A thirty projects will be retained.
