The Pink Lady® Culinary Photographers of the Year 2023 has been announced.
Thousands of images poured in from over 65 countries around the world.
The winners will be announced on Tuesday, May 16, 2023 at 7:30 p.m. at a private screening at BAFTA in London. The film will also be broadcast worldwide on the Pink Lady® Food Photographer of the Year YouTube channel.
This year’s judging panel, chaired by food photographer David Loftus, includes Fiona Shields, head of photography, Guardian News & Media; chef Ian Kittichai, restaurateur, author and TV host; Ella Ravilious, curator at the V&A Museum; Nik Sharma, cookbook author, photographer and columnist.
An exhibition of all the finalist images will be shown for the first time at the Royal Photographic Society in Bristol from Saturday 20 May to Sunday 11 June. It is part of Bristol’s “World Photography in Focus” event, during which a number of leading international photography competitions, including Wildlife Photographer of the Year and Travel Photographer of the Year, will be on display in the city.
