On the occasion of the first week of the Rencontres d ́Arles 2021, La Galerie Ephémère presents the ‘Montalivet’ series by Marc de Groot, a Dutch photographer born in 1964, living and working in Amsterdam.
Marc de Groot works mainly in the world of Fashion, while tirelessly gazing at his family and friends during their summer vacation. With the ‘Montalivet’ Series, he transports us to the shores of the Atlantic, to this atypical holiday village, a little joyful paradise, where he gives us to see his family and friends, dressed in the warm light of summer.
This exhibition presents 22 prints. Marc de Groot is represented by Julian Meijer.

La Galerie Éphémère has chosen to open its doors in Arles in July 2021, in order to offer artists the possibility of showing again, after a year deprived of exhibition and culture.
In this small setting nestled in the heart of the city, la Galerie Ephémère bases its artistic line on the discovery and development of talents that have never or occasionally been shown in galleries, favoring, for its first year of opening, the medium of photography.
La Galerie Ephémère clears, explores and seeks to bring new blood, unexplored treasures at the crossroads of cultures that nourish the diversity as much as the contemporaneity of the artistic line of the gallery.
