The Gajac Museum presents the photographic work of Chema Madoz, in partnership with the gallery Di Chroma Photography, Madrid. More than hundred black and white silver prints are exhibited.
Born in Madrid in 1958, Chema Madoz has occupied a special place on the international art scene for thirty years.
His singular work is not related to any current, although it has often been cited as an influence of the surrealist movement. Extremely graphic, his compositions in black and white, around banal or familiar objects that he collects, diverts or transforms in his studio, deploy an imaginary world that radically questions our sense of perception.
Opening hours: Tue – Fri 10 am – noon & 2 – 6 pm / Sat & Sun 2 – 6 pm (closed on holidays).
