ADAGP and the Freelens association are launching the 4th edition of the Transverse grant, designed to promote original forms of storytelling and encourage the creation of works between a photographer and an artist from another visual arts discipline.
Application deadline: 14.06.2024 at 2 p.m.
How much is the grant?
A €12,000 bursary will be awarded, divided as follows:
7,000€ to the winning duo (photographer and visual artist) ;
5,000€ to the publisher.
Who can apply?
A duo comprising a photographer and a visual artist from the French scene (working or living in France for at least 5 years, or of French nationality living abroad). The duo may be accompanied by an editor;
The duo must have a professional artistic track record (exhibitions, publications, participation in fairs or festivals, etc.).
What type of project is eligible?
The work must be a joint creation in the field of photography with another visual arts discipline in the ADAGP repertoire;
The work must be an original creation and must be completed within a year of the grant being awarded;
The work must be published in the form of a book no later than two years after the grant is awarded.
