Filmmaker and Artist John Waters, Former White House Photographer Pete Souza, Artist and Photographer Marilyn Minterand Award-winning Filmmaker Issa Touma Set to Headline the 19thAnnual Atlanta Celebrates Photography Festival Taking Place at Locations Throughout Atlanta During the Month of October.
The Atlanta Celebrates Photography Festival is the largest annual community-oriented photography festival in the United States and features events for the serious collector, the casual photographer and everyone in between. An important part of the ACP Festival is the Public Art initiatives which become part of the community during the month of October. This year, the Public Art component includes a 700-foot photo exhibit along the Atlanta Beltline, a collaboration with MARTA to produce an “Art Car,” and “My Atlanta,” an open exhibition in which anyone can display one of their photographs.
