The Galerie L’Aberrante, echoing and supporting the International Day Against Violence Against Women, proposes: “3jours1femme”.
This exhibition was born from an encounter with Camille Gharbi. It brings together three photographic artists: Oleñka Carrasco, Camille Gharbi and Arianna Sanesi, who all look at the most extreme domestic violence: feminicides.
Through their photographic works, they transcend reality. They explore the public space, the house, the intimate. Each of them offers a very personal look both in the treatment of the subject and in its aestheticism. Variety of creation to which the gallery is attached. Without concessions or taboos, they allow us to leave the silence, and participate in the awareness of the gravity of this phenomenon.
This exhibition shows us how artists can mobilize around the serious subject of violence against women. As a gallery committed to greater equality for women artists, it seems important to us to join the various movements fighting against violence against women.
