“The sound of silence”

These fifteen photographs are part of a new photographic project of mine consisting of twenty-five images, inspired by the song “The sound of silence” by Simon & Garfunkel, hence the title, freely extrapolated from the verses of the song: “But my words fell like raindrops”.
This project was initially conceived with a totally different imprint, both in terms of colour and setting, which was later changed after having accidentally heard that song on the radio after so many years, which I freely interpreted artistically, and which expresses the concept of the project. The photographs were taken in the Monumental Cemetery in the city of Reggio Emilia, Italy.
