“I worked a lot in Egypt, especially in Cairo, between 1987 and 2011. At the time, I focused on the older neighborhoods, the café culture and nightlife. I decided to put together a book about how things have changed there in recent years. With the support of the CNAP, I was able to return in 2012 and 2013.”
