Photography of atmospheres
In 2015 my father lent me his old silver Pentax so that I could immortalize a stay in Japan. Fascinated by the atmosphere, the tranquility and the Japanese landscapes, I never stopped capturing what was around me. A new camera and a one-year expatriation in New York confirmed my attraction to the medium.
I now live in Paris, and make the capital my playground, discovering its streets and neighborhoods on foot. Photography gives a purpose to my wanderings. It allows me to immortalize a beautiful light, an abstract composition or the expression of a passerby. A simple stroll can turn into a treasure hunt.
Favoring color, I develop a colorful universe evoking the paintings of Edward Hopper and a certain desire to escape.
