To have his sensual and erotic pictures exposed in all the rooms of the Amour hotels, first the Grand Amour in Paris, then Nice and next month in New York, it’s the dream of every photographer. Claude Guillaumin realizes it from June 11th to 16th.
He is so happy that he will reveal in some rooms a forgotten rarity: the first sexy calendar of a model agency. It was in 1974, Elite, the agency of John Casablancas.
Look, all the stars of the time are here!

In 1974, my friend John Casablancas, founder of the Elite Agency and creator of the first Top Models, asked me to make the Elite calendar: a world premiere at modeling agencies – soon followed by other agencies and by Vogue magazine.
To make the calendar attractive, it needed a little sensuality and evoke a point of eroticism.
John did a casting in his own agency and with his great talent of seduction persuaded some girls. They did not all agree and asked questions on the degree of nudity, the transparency of the dresses or the couple situations.
We are in 1974 and the sexual liberation was rather on the other side of the Atlantic.
Some of the models thought, “When my mother will see that …”
Overall the result was a hit with the models, although some had criticisms, as often, about their profile, hairstyles, makeup …
But posing for a calendar, their ego was satisfied.
Even today, if I post an image on Facebook, they are delighted.
