Intempéries, un temps pourri
As I see it, there are two main ways to photograph the world: to take hold of its horror (there’s plenty), or to sublimate it. I’ve chosen the latter. More specifically, I love the romance of rain, snow and ‘bad weather’ (although not its consequences). These are all marvelous photographic subjects, elements of an untapped and highly evocative visual world rich in subtle color. This world eludes most of us. We’re too busy seeking shelter from it.
