Faroe Islands
The Faroe Islands are like my previous trips (Iceland, Russia, Canada etc ..) The climate is often agitated in the Faroes, rain, snow and wind, my favorite subjects.
I had dreamed of going there for a long time, but the fear of finding 30 photographers per square meter strongly hampered me (very bad memory of the Lofoten islands in Norway).
Finally, perhaps already due to the absence of the Chinese, I was often absolutely the only one around!
Difficult to avoid the most famous sites, however, I tried a personal approach, always very linked to bad weather, its mystery, its beauty, its significance, and its strength.
My work remains visual sensitive and narrative.
This wind cost me a beautiful pair of glasses and almost a car door.
