I am 47 years old, of German nationality but with Namibian permanent residence – I live in Namibia, partly in Windhoek and partly on a farm in the Erongo mountains.
My mother gave me a Agfa Optima when I was about ten years old.
Since then, on and off, I have been photographing. Since three years I make a living doing nothing else, here in Namibia.
In my free work, I like to combine the awe-inspiring Namibian landscape with the grace of our young women.
Sometimes, I re-enact ancient rock-paintings by body-painting the models accordingly.
I wish I had the money to do this more often.
