Cheyco Leidmann kept reinventing his visual language. In more recent years, he went on with monographs ‘SEX is BLUE’ and ‘TOXYTT’ a sort of social analysis through explicit and disturbing images that show the “toxicity” of modern life and he continues with ‘ZIGGURAT’ to be a prolific artist. Leidmann is fond of exaggerated forms and pushing the boundaries and challenging customs and conventions. His individual, extraordinary, commanding, unique approach of art work presents his perception of the changing world in a highly unique way. This wicked world swaying between surrealism and truth is, so to speak, the pre-aranged reality, captured in its most dramatic moment. He makes a statement with his work to a truly artistic endeavor. His images transfer us to the world resembling altered states of consciousness, with the stories being told implicitly.
