Céline Medina: Through taxi windshields

Preview

“I dedicated this TAXI BE TV exhibition to Pierrot Men, a photographer and malgasy “magician”. And to La Caravane that is my little right bank home”, writes Céline Medina. Architect and photograph. Globetrotter, she is passionate to travel because she finds inspiration in very longs travels when she feels like stopping the time. After traveling from Paris to Beijing by train, from Siberia and Mongolia, she flew to Madagascar where she fell under the spell of the island. From the cahos of the taxis-stations, in total opposition with the slowness of the road, born the idea of “seeing life in Madagascar through a windshield, like on television, with or whithout road….And from the discovery of Pierrot Men generosity’s was born the idea to show this…”.
