Extra-vaguances
Extra-vaguances is a series of photos that explores the contrast between everyday life and the imaginary, between the real and the virtual, between the moment and the probable future.
Each photo, in black and white in warm tones, mixes elements of reality and synthetic image, thus creating surreal, sometimes poetic scenes. The photos show landscapes, streets, individuals on the beach or in town. Each image includes at least one animal from distant or distant lands.
These animals symbolize escape, dreams and freedom, but also the fragility and the ultimatum that weighs on them.
This series allows us to try to imagine what their migration would be like due to climate change.
This fauna, although virtual, therefore appears to be a potential threat to our species.
The “Extra-vaguances” series invites the viewer to question their relationship with others, with themselves and with nature.
She does this through a look that is both playful and critical.
