I took these photos over several years in Trentino, during my hikes in the Dolomites and the Lagorai range, where I go several times a year. Timeless beauty. Sumptuous beauty. Fragile beauty, however, as the Dolomites face numerous threats endangering their balance: rising temperatures, melting glaciers and eternal snow, thawing permafrost, landslides… The threats are of a worrying magnitude.
