The month of April this year is chock-full of photography events, as much in Europe, and France in particular, as it is in Denver, in the heart of the United States. Following the same principle as do Parisian venues, Denver galleries, museums, and art centers have joined forces to present a cross-section of the local scene, without forgetting to attract nationally known artists. The festival’s objective is to “explore the wide range in artists’ practices that happen to use photography for part or parcel”. At the very least, it can be said that little publicized events of this type are often a treasure trove of unexpected finds. We present today a selection of the best exhibitions of Denver Month of Photography, founded by Mark Sink, a wonderful photographer and also one of the founders of the Museum of Contemporary Art Denver. Enjoy your visit!
