The Lagardère Foundation launches the 2018 edition of its Photographer Grant. Giving 15 000 euros, this prize is ‘attributed to a young professional photographer wishing to realize in France or abroad, a photographic project with documentary character, in the social, economic, political or cultural field.’
To participate, the candidates, all professional photographers, must be under 35, be French-speaking and have made at least two photographic works published in the press or in a book.
Among the previous winners, Matias Costas (1999) include Éric Baudelaire (2003), Elena Chernyshova (2011) and Antoine Bruy (2017). The 2017 jury was presided by Jean-Luc Monterosso.
