Designed as the leading young European photography festival, Circulation (s) just launched its 2018 call for entries. The festival will occur from March, 17 to May, 6 2018, at the well-known Centquatre-Paris. Created in 2011 on an initiative by the Parisian artistic center, it has already welcomed nearly 180 000 visitors. It is considered one of the best spearheads of young contemporary photographic creation.
Since 2011, Circulation(s) has considerably grown out. The winners are now exhibited at the Voies Off in Arles, while exhibitions continue their march to the Multimedia Art Museum in Moscow. Winners are also admired by the curious eye of passers-by waiting in some of the largest stations in France. At last, some galeries and curators are invited to give each year a new input to the festival.
Only European photographers or those resident in Europe can compete. Candidates have until 24 September, midnight, to send their files. A contribution of 25 euros is requested. Applications are made on the site of Circulation (s).
