Sparky in the Woods is a whimsical look at an imaginary traveler in time and space who suddenly finds herself in the H.J. Andrews Experimental Forest, a research forest in western Oregon. There she makes the best of her situation, camping out, picking berries, playing violin and eventually hiking home. All photos are black and white prints individually hand colored with artist acrylic paints, in the fashion of traditional hand-colored photos of the past....
