BnF Richelieu : Tribute to curator Jean-Claude Lemagny

On January 17th, the BnF will pay tribute to Jean-Claude Lemagny, curator of contemporary photography from 1968 to 1996, on the occasion of the first anniversary of his death.

The event will take place at the Lichtenstein auditorium of the INHA (access via the Vivienne gallery opposite the BnF Richelieu entrance at 5 rue Vivienne), from 2 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Entrance is free and without pre-registration.

2 p.m.: Introduction by Sylvie Aubenas

2:15 p.m. – 3:15 p.m.: Jean-Claude Lemagny, first curator for contemporary photography in France: missions, actions and networks
Round table moderated by Sylvie Aubenas

3:15 p.m.-4:15 p.m.: Opening collections internationally: a look at foreign photography (Americas, Japan, Lithuania)
Round table moderated by Flora Triebel

4:15 p.m.-4:30 p.m.: break
