The matter within
In this series, I explore the matter that connects us as humans to all other life on earth and the universe.
The matter from which all life arose, our bodies too are basically made of this matter. After our death, our body returns to a basic matter that then feeds the emergence of new life, in whatever form. This idea questions the fact that we are fundamentally equal to everything else tangible. We, humans are a species that is highly evolved, or does it just seem that way and are we perhaps incapable of understanding other species?
Our short lives are put into perspective by this thought in the larger framework, within the passage of time. It is a comforting thought that we are part of a continuous cycle and starting from the matter within us we reincarnate into another life form. In a purely physical way.
Or is there more?
