We received this lovely gift from Bernard Plossu accompanied by these few words.

During my American years, I had the chance to meet quite a few “great” American photographers and historians; all in the west, except for the pictures of John Szarkowski in New York and that of Alan Porter in Lucerne.
These photos, were made between 1974 and 1984.
Everyone received me with incredible kindness.
