Clarissa Ward, CNN‘s multi-award-winning chief international correspondent agreed to chair the work of the jury for this 31st edition. She has been covering the planet’s most violent conflicts for more than 20 years. Her experience, her career and the respect she inspires in the profession will make her participation in Bayeux an event.

Photo, radio, television and written press reports dealing with a conflict situation or current events concerning the defense of freedoms and democracy can be sent until June 6 for the 2024 selection.
They must have been completed between June 1, 2023 and May 31, 2024, and each compete for an award of €7,000.
YOUNG REPORTER AWARD
In 2024: the category concerned is photography. As this is a different category depending on the year, the report presented must have been produced between June 1, 2022 and May 31, 2024.
