Christian Vogt is a fantastic photographer but a very cryptic communicator. Nevertheless we love his pictures and wanted to present his exhibition in Bale, along with his text.
““Olpe’s Dream” (Camera Obscura Narrative)
Bablina (it is, in fact, her name) changes herself with the help of the “mutato” (camera obscura) into “Olpina”
The journey crosses the Briant Peaks, continuing along the north coast of the Column Islands, and into the uncertain southland of Costes-Cirgues.
Meanwhile, in the dark of a small Swiss town, Elma (it is, in fact, her name) transmutes into that which she has always been, an image.
This transformation takes on visible form in Illustration Number 6.
I, (my configuration is called this), in wise premonition, had made this picture many years before. ”
