We are pleased to announce the photo has been sold on Friday July 3rd in an after sale negotiation to a senior Manhattan collector, of both photography and contemporary art for a hundred thousand dollars.
Research will follow on, the last months of Vincent Van Gogh in Paris with the 96 rue Blanche exhibition being one main subject of investigation, together with the portraits of his brother Theo Van Gogh. The paper publication Nicephore, cahier de photographie n°3 will be printed at mid-september.
