The Athens Photo Festival is a relatively young festival with a very long pedigree. Inaugurated in 2008 as the continuation of the International Month of Photography (Athens) that took place yearly from 1987 to 2007, the Athens Photo Festival runs from mid-October until the end of November, and incorporates a wide array of exhibitions and photographic events such as lectures, portfolio consultations, masterclasses and a photographic “marathon”. The Festival’s main exhibition program was presented at the “Technopolis” cultural center in Athens from November 2 to November 16.
