And then you walk into a pop-up gallery. Contemporary work, but with unmistakable influence of the great classical street photographers and the humanist school.
The maker: a young lady of just 19, just graduated from the Lycée, about to enter higher education. And clearly with talent and growth potential, so much to show over here. One advice to her: don’t be limited by the vanity of success, create your own visual language – beyond the boundaries of the known and the certain.
