Gallery 12 in Paris presents Antoni Taulé until June 23rd.
The Catalan painter has set up an exhibition of oil-enhanced argentic photographic prints. Each work is unique, just like his paintings.
He is famous for his chiaroscuro, his experimentation between shadow and light in very architectural places. In the center of the image, a well of light draws the eye. Taulé paints in oil directly on the print: here he erases a character, here he adds an imaginary perspective, there he opens a door to a garden.
