He gave us this text to explain !
“This project is an attempt to research how familiar objects appear in darkness.
My purpose was to highlight them carefully and take them out of the urban environment context.
As a result the images had no any points of reference. It’s impossible to define the objects’ sizes on the photographs, the scale and in many cases what the objects are. The objects lose their identities.
All photographs were made in Moscow using one or several powerful light sources.
All objects are real architectural forms with no digital manipulation.”
