IRAK (I-rak, I fly in American slang), legendary collective of New York graffiti artists born on the initiative of Earsnot and Sace. They redefine the graffiti of New York at the beginning of the 21st century and of a generation traumatized post 9/11.
Dash Snow aka Sace/Sacer began his career as a sulphurous artist by frenetically graffitiing the walls of New York with the collectives Mayhem, ACC and especially Irak.
Then, he gradually abandons the bomb for the polaroid in order to document his tumultuous life. Graffiti artist and photographer, Dash Snow never ceases to testify to the urgency of youth. Then he became an artist recognized by the profession, he had several exhibitions in prestigious cultural institutions, he died of an overdose in July 2009, at the age of 27.
