Alice Pavesi Fiori was born in 1984 in Parma, where she is currently based. In 2006 she received a degree in Visual Arts and Photography at the Istituto Europeo di Design in Milan and her registration to the National Order of Journalists. She is a portrait photographer both interested in social reporting and fashion. She has a preference for shooting with dusty analog cameras and old films no longer in production. Above all Alice loves to spend time with her subjects, this comes from the fact that she is deeply attracted by people, and the story behind faces. Her work has received many awards and mentions over the years, such as the Canon Prize for Young Photographers, the Sony World Photography Award, the International Photography Award, the Taylor Wessing Photographic Portrait Prize, the Nikon Talent Award and the PDN The Look Contest. Her photographs have been published by The Sunday Times Magazine, Vanity Fair, The New York Times, The International Herald Tribune, Io Donna, Sette, D Repubblica among others. Alice’s work is distributed by Luz Photo Agency.
