For the event Marseille Provence 2013, European Capital of Culture, the Association Aéronautique et Astronautique de France (Aeronautics and Astronautics Association of France), in partnership with Eurocopter—official partner of Marseille Provence 2013—and the Aéroport Marseille Provence, wanted to illustrate the region’s rich aviation history by exhibiting an exceptional series of 74 photographs taken by Alain Ernoult.
