Stephen Bulger Gallery, Toronto, will feature works by Canadian artists Larry Towell and Rita Leistner. Towell’s series The Mennonites explores the Protestant sect and their migration from Mexico to the vegetable fields of Canada for economic survival. Leistner’s series The Tree Planters pays homage to Canada’s world leadership in sustainable forest management. Also on view will be important works by Alexander Artway, Phil Bergerson, Wendy Ewald, Claudia Fährenkemper, Irene Fay, Robert Frank, David Goldblatt, Sunil Gupta, Dave Heath, Minna Keene, André Kertész, Helen Levitt, Joan Lyons, Arnaud Maggs, Adam Magyar, Meryl McMaster, Bea Nettles, Deanna Pizzitelli, Alison Rossiter, Rosalind Fox Solomon, and Arthur Tress.
