Plastic vanities is a portfolio where the passing of time, the erasing and the disappearance are reflected, through a banal and everyday object : a plastic bag. On a black background, inflated with light, it recalls opalescent matter, like molten glass, where one can make out, trapped in the folds and wrinkles, a hand, a withered bud or the hardly distinguishable fragment of a maxillary bone… dense, contrasted images, with a subtle depth in focus.
