During the 3 days of this weekend, Claude Guillaumin is exhibiting in his village in Sarthe. He sent us this text:
In 2019, following the arrival of the Covid, I settled in my country house located in Asnières sur Vègre more or less permanently.
In this charming village of Sarthe, there has been a dynamic photo association for 15 years:
Asnières Passion Photo 72, chaired by Michel Lhérault.
The A2P72 association organizes an annual festival in three stages with Phot’Expo over the 3 days of Pentecost, Balad’Expo with 25 photos at the Jardin des Chanoines for a year, and Nat’Expo the first weekend of October, dedicated to animals and nature.
Michel offered me to make a big exhibition of the photos that I have been able to do throughout my career.
What I liked about the idea is the fact of not having a theme and thus having the possibility of showing photos taken during many trips outside of my editorial and advertising work in fashion and beauty.
There will be 25 photos on Asia in 80X120 format mounted on dibond outdoors and more than 100 photos in the Marbrerie room with fashion, beauty, still life, and montages, images of NY from 1967 to 2022, photos of Coca Cola boxes, Food Trucks, landscapes, animals and more.
