Upon arriving in Kyoto you are greeted with beautiful natural surroundings. Exotic timeless architecture bathed in unique light similar to magic hour. It’s no wonder Kyoto is the choice backdrop for an international photography fair. The stand out element of Kyotographie is the choice of venues. Eastern culturally rich spaces curated to such magnificent detail and spread out across the city. The result? Over stimulated senses but the artists would have it no other way. Exhausting but exhilarating, Kyotographie is a tour de force of talent meets culture. I’m still humbled and awed by its sheer elegance and beauty. In its second year, Kyotographie and its satellite event KG+ have successfully created a truly unique atmosphere and experience that provide a lifetime of memories.
