Besides Mr. Parr the 7th edition of the Fotobookfestival focused on Iberian books and « Fresh » books throughout lectures and special guests at the photobook market.
The first festival focus on Friday 5th was on current developments in photobooks from Spain and Portugal, with renowned photographers and curators giving talks about their recent books or discussing the strong emergence of the field: Carlos Spottorno, Julián Barón, Txema Salvans, Juan Valbuena, Horacio Fernández, André Principe, Fannie Escoulen and Nicolas Combarro. The program of talks was moderated by the austrian curator and educator based in Spain : Moritz Neumüller.
